Generative AI Policy
Authors are required to disclose the use of generative AI in the writing process when submitting a manuscript. The following guidelines specifically address the use of AI in the writing process and do not apply to the use of AI tools for data analysis or research insights:
01 Language and Readability EnhancementGenerative AI and AI-assisted technologies may only be used to improve the readability and language quality of the manuscript.
02 Human Responsibility and SupervisionThe use of these tools must be conducted under human supervision. Authors must meticulously review and edit the results, as AI can generate content that appears authoritative but may be inaccurate, incomplete, or biased. Authors retain full responsibility and accountability for all content of their work.
03 AuthorshipAI and AI-assisted technologies must not be listed or cited as authors or co-authors, as authorship entails responsibilities that can only be fulfilled by humans.
04 Declaration of UseAuthors must disclose the use of generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in the writing process by including a statement at the end of the manuscript upon initial submission. This statement will be included in the published version of the paper and should be placed in a new section before the reference list.
Statement Format
Title of New SectionDeclaration of Generative AI and AI-Assisted Technology Use in the Writing ProcessStatement Content“During the preparation of this work, the author(s) used [NAME OF TOOL/SERVICE] for [PURPOSE OF USE]. After using this tool/service, the author(s) reviewed and edited the content comprehensively and assume full responsibility for the final content of the published article.”
This declaration is not required for the use of basic tools, such as grammar or spell checkers and reference managers. If no generative AI or AI-assisted technologies were used, no statement is necessary.
Important Note
To safeguard the confidentiality and intellectual property rights of authors, this journal currently prohibits the use of generative AI or AI-assisted tools (such as ChatGPT) by reviewers or editors during the manuscript evaluation and peer review process. The journal is exploring compliant AI tools and may update this policy in the future.
