About the Journal
TMR: Tuah Multidisciplinary Research is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal published by Jambi Tuah Tengganai. The journal serves as a scholarly forum for research that crosses disciplinary boundaries, bringing together the social sciences, humanities, education, economics, health, and applied sciences in the study of shared societal problems.
TMR is founded on the conviction that the most pressing questions of contemporary society — in human development, cultural transformation, technological change, sustainability, and community welfare — rarely fall within the boundaries of a single discipline. The journal therefore welcomes empirical, conceptual, and policy-oriented work that engages rigorously with theory and evidence while speaking beyond the confines of one field, with particular attention to developing and plural societies.

Editorial Commitment
Every manuscript submitted to TMR is screened for similarity using Turnitin and, if it passes initial editorial assessment, is evaluated by independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant fields. Where a manuscript draws substantially on more than one discipline, reviewers may be assigned from each of them, so that both the disciplinary rigour and the integrative contribution of the work are properly assessed.
The journal adheres to the standards of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and to the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing defined by COPE and the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). All operational costs are borne by the publisher, so that neither authors nor readers are charged at any stage.
Authors are invited to consult the Focus and Scope, Author Guidelines, and Publication Ethics pages before submitting a manuscript.
